Eva started her career in 1994 as a Senior Finance Operations Analyst for a $500M sales division for The Gap, Inc. in San Francisco. She later became a Principal Financial Analyst for a $900M sales region for Oracle Corporation in Belmont. In 2003, Eva formed Eva Smith & Associates, EA using her experience and contacts to grow a practice that concentrates in highly personalized tax, bookkeping, and financial services for businesses and individuals. Her diverse background affords her the unique opportunity of utilizing the angles of both tax and financial strategies when working with clients.
ACTIVE WITH PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATIONS
Eva is routinely involved in speaking engagements for various organizations and has been featured in local news circulations offering tax and financial advice. Eva holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Accounting from California State University at Hayward and is a member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents, the National Association of Tax Practitioners, the California Society of Enrolled Agents and the Hayward Chamber of Commerce.

Outside of work, Eva serves as a mentor to at-risk youth through Young Life Ministries. She teaches self-esteem building and basic life skills classes to middle and high school students. Eva enjoys spending time with her husband and children, volunteering at her children’s school, and cheering the loudest at their sporting and theater events.
